Original, I love it!

This is the most original movie I have seen in a long time. Some people say that it's just a rip off of anime, but I think that anime is really hard to do, and it looks really good if done well.
Also, the DVD-style interface was a great idea, and I bet that we'll start seeing more movies with it on them now.

Some parts that need improvement however:
1. Overuse of gradients: using shading rather than gradients looks better with anime-style artwork.
2. Subtitles: It would be great if you could have some voices for the characters (preferably Japanese)
3. More destruction: not neccessarily more violence, but more rocks being destroyed, etc. The destruction of inanimate objects adds to the intensity of a fight.

The preloader game itself would do well in the portal, but add the movie, and the different camera angles, and you've got a winner!

disappointing

The music was good, and the backgrounds were nice. The artwork, although artistic, was really quite weak.
It seems to me that if the author has the phrase "endless array" in his vocabulary, then he need not be reduced to using profanity to get his point across.
This movie does not portray sadness in any aspect, in spit of the music being so melancholy.

This barely qualifies as a movie!

I can't believe that something like this is rated so high. You people need to look at the quality of the movie, instead of voting 5 because the napster ripoff sounds are funny.
If this trend continues, then the portal will eventually become a napster ripoff sanctuary. The good movies will be at the bottom of the portal, and the top 20 will be full of movies that are just comedic sound bits not even created by the author.
You may think I'm exaggerating here, but if movies like this succeed, then what is stopping 200 people from making more movies like this. To vote high on this movie is to encourage the production of movies made with no imagination (which I don't like to see).
Now I'm not trying to disrespect the author as a person or anything, but seriously, how much effort could this movie have taken?

Interesting...

Although I could not find any point or storyline to this movie, I was very impressed by the graphics.
The characters were decent, and the backgrounds were extraordinary.
The style was quite interesting.

I don't really mind watching a stick movie as long as it has a plot and is not a total matrix rip-off.
This movie was not a matrix ripoff, and was pretty well done, but it had no plot.
I liked the way the music changed from a really calm song to a rock song though.
You seem to have good potential as a Flash designer. Just try to start using real people. It may be hard at first, but once you can use real people easily, you will be a much better Flash designer.

SWEEEEET!

This was an incredible skating movie. It has some of the smoothest Flash animation I've ever seen, and the movements are very realistic.
Good board flipping also.

ripped off sounds and pictures

This is yet another movie in which there is no Flash whatsoever. The author did no actual Flash artwork. It is just a song ripped off from a movie, and pictures ripped off from various websites.
Even thought it was slightly funny, I will always vote a zero on movies which are just a compilation of ripped off files.

This is getting insane!!!

I had already heard this sound file before I saw this movie. There is no flash skill displayed in this movie whatsoever. All it is is a crappy movie clip of a guy in a turban holding a phone, and some .wav file that was ripped off of some site.

It is ridiculous that something like this can make it to the portal top 100. This is just another movie that proves that most of the people voting in the portal cannot recognize a well-made flash movie. What is even dumber than this movie being in the top 100 is "britney spears dress-up doll" being in the top 20. The people voting high on this are the same kind of morons who vote high on that movie.

Pretty good

This movie has really good animation. Few people take the time to draw each frame in Flash. There are some effects that tweening just cannot achieve.
The only problem I found with the movie... ...gum takes 9 years to digest!
